Toika has been making reeds for almost 130 years. Today reeds are made of stainless steel but are made in the traditional way using the best possible raw materials. Specially treated yarn is used as a binder to keep the dents in place. The height of the standard reed is 12 cm (4 ¾"). The reeds are packed in plastic
covers and thus protected against dust and humidity during storage and transport. Reed number indicates the number of dents in 10 cm.
