LEENA TABLE LOOM, working width 60 cm, 8 shafts

LEENA is a compact table loom designed for weaving lightweight textiles such as scarves, table runners, pillowcases, towels, tapestries, rag rugs, and small rya rugs. Table looms are especially well suited for teaching, sampling, and weaving in small spaces where room is limited.

The Leena table loom is available with a weaving width of 60 cm (23 5/8″) and can be chosen with either 4 shafts (4111) or 8 shafts (4311). The loom comes complete with a reed no. 40, 200 heddles, cords, two flat stick shuttles, and instructions.

Unlike floor looms, the Leena table loom does not use treadles. Instead, the warp threads are operated manually with easy-to-use hand-turning levers.

Leena can be placed directly on a table or mounted on a dedicated loom stand (4112), available as an optional accessory. We also recommend the Laila bench for table looms equipped with a stand. Additionally, the loom can be ordered with a pre-warped setup at an extra cost.

For best results, it is recommended to warp the loom with a maximum of 6–10 meters at a time, depending on the material used. The warp beam should be carefully reinforced with warp sticks or corrugated cardboard.
